Great Place to Work® Norway is looking for outstanding workplaces for this recognition. We see that among Norway's Best Workplaces, employees report a high level of trust, trustworthy and respectful leadership, pride in their work and a strong sense of community. We examine the employees' experiences of the workplace across the organization, regardless of who they are or what they do. Each company is scored through our analysis of anonymous employee responses to more than 50 questions in our Trust Index survey, along with our assessment of the companies' practices scored through our Culture Analysis, Culture Audit.
The basis for the award consists of responses from more than 22,000 employees. To be considered, companies must have at least 20 employees and have enough respondents to achieve a 95% confidence level with less than 5% margin of error.
We know that all types of businesses can be great workplaces. As can be seen from the overview below, we can therefore raise winners from different industries, regions and with different sizes. The 38 best workplaces in 2019 are defined in four different categories based on the number of employees, 20-49 employees, 50-199 employees, 200-499 employees, and 500+ employees.
